50 car services a day, 25 working bays, one choice: DEA
One of the biggest and busiest Mercedes Benz workshop in the UK has been recently refurbished with DEA solutions; the workshop services on average 50 cars a day via its 25 bays workshop. Twenty four mechanics work on the premises.
DEA commitment was not only to provide workshop furniture and modular solutions to the workshop: DEA was in fact next to the investor at the very beginning of the project, studying and checking with the client the best functional solution for a performing workshop.
Integrated solutions for workshop optimization
The true innovation in this Mercedes Benz workshop is the fully integrated fluid distribution system. The left side of the workshop, in fact, does not have any wall behind the furniture and the challenge was to integrate piping and cables anyway. DEA carefully studied the workshop spaces and dimension and created a workshop solution able to integrate piping and cables inside the furniture itself.
Moreover, DEA solutions were used to create a real access corridor to the workshop and the result was to have a smooth and good looking working place. AS the After Sale Manager Paul Dobson said:
"We chose a new black integrated system from DEA and we are delighted with it."
And of course having better workshop performances will for sure grant better added value for the Mercedes Benz clients.
